    stripped studs

    I was riding and heard a poping noise from the front wheel find out my lug nuts was lose i don't kno how but one of them are stripped and one i broke so only 2 lugs are holding the wheel on i have tuner lugs on 17's what am i'm soposed to do about the stripped one.

    Are the nuts stripped and broken, or is it the studs? If it is the studs you will need to press the hub off to get at them.

    the studs from what it sounds like. Ya you need to get two new studs, at least. if your looking for an upgrade, ARP makes great studs.

    is it easy to replace and how much would they run is it easy enough i can do it myself.

    not too terribly hard...if you have access to a shop press. they run around 3 bucks a piece from honda.

    Actually you can hammer the old one out, and use an open ended lug to drive the new one into place. You dont even need a press
