I had the car for a while now, but just got around to taking a few pics of it. When I took these I just got done, adjusting my carb, and replacing the heater core in it. What I plan on is going to 15's and fixing the obvious bumbers (especially the back one!!!) and trying to get the motor either rebuilt or swapped with something I can put a little boost with it. So far the car runs good. I have been keeping up with it. Not liking all the vac lines, I had less in my 72 Nova with the 327 motor in it. You got to love 4 bangers!!




I hope to start tearing the motor out and apart in the next few months. I can ride my bike to work once I move in July!!!!!

Don't see why the cops would care, any state's front plate works equally well for hitting you with laser speed detectors.

ok nice project car but
1: get 88-89 right tail lamp
2: get 88-89 rear bumper
3:repaint front bumper
4: reapaint trim
5: fix metel under tails

I planned on getting the rear done first. As for the plate just wanted the AZ plate to put on front since that's where I was before on my other car. Not a bad ride to play with, but finding time to get working on it, is hard to do. I found a bumper to replace the rear one. Just have to go get it. My next major thing is to do some of the body work and find new weatherstripping. Any Suggestions as to get some new weatherstripping fairly cheap???

Perfect sleeper is what I see. If you want to turbo it plan on an efi swap and obd1 conversion. You can run a pretty good amount of boost with stock internals. I think one member one here runs like 12psi?? someone correct if wrong.

yeah i think they were running 13 psi on a stock motor...but it spun a bearing. justin was running 8psi....he has his kit for sale on ebay for a while but im not sure if any one bought it. i think he wanted like 2000 bucks for it.

Not bad, needs rear end work like everyone else had already mentioned. Funny thing is that you have almost the same mileage as me. I just hit 146k the other night, so i have about 500 miles more than you.

im not far behind.....i have like 145,880....drove alot to day.....put like 30 miles on the car....sucks cuz i only have 4th gear.....but i was doing 95 for a while....the car was going like 5000RPM....these lil a20s have lots of pull
