The tires that I currently have on my car are P185/80 R13. The stock tire size is P185/70 R13. I know that this won't throw off my speedometer that much, but I was wondering by how much it might be thrown off?

when your speedo reads 60 you are going 63.8

okay thanks messy. I have seen a tire size and speed calculator somewhere online before, but I couldn't find it again.
ya if im at 60 im doing 58.7 that means im never speeding lol
okay sweet thanks for the link.
haha never speeding![]()
You've got it mixed up. MessyHonda has listed the correct numbers. A larger than stock tire will give you a speedometer that reads low.Originally Posted by ghettogeddy

A larger tire will make the car travel farther with the same ammount of revolutions, thus the car goes faster. I just wasn't how sure just how much faster I was going.
I think Geddy was referring to his tires. I'm pretty sure his are smaller than stock.Originally Posted by AZmike
