California Jelly Blade [car care]

ok, so i've seen the california water blade and jelly blade for years. always wanted one. so i finally bought one. that thing works great. made quick work of drying the car. i did use a chamois after using the jelly blade to get the residual water. but yeah, made it nice not to have to keep wringing out the chamois. i'd recommend it when you need to hurry drying your car.

next time you come over I'll let you give the blade a try

yup same here....i even have mine in my car right now...best thing.....i got it for free last year...but i would always use it. cuts time in half.

I do the same thing. I bought a California Water Blade at Sam's about four years ago. It was recommended to me by a detailer. It supposedly abrades the paint a lot less than even a chamois and helps your wax job last longer.

yeah, i found thats what has to be done. i guess i used it correctly. i thought about it scratching the paint also, but i guess the silicon is so soft and flexable that it doesnt. i havent tried it on my 3gee yet though, its paint isnt as nice as our 02 accord.

No more than dragging a rock with the chamois would.

ive always used terry cloth figuring a chamois would also bring rocks lol

course not like im some crazy car care expert.. right now my car is sealed in a nice protective layer of birdshit actuall lol.. need to get me one of these squeegees and go to town

that's what i do at work, it ways faster than using the chamois alone

I use my chamois after the water blade as well. For the first 15 years of the car's life, though, I used a chamois alone. Paint still looks great after 18 years.
