sweetness im looking forward to doing the swap and those calipers look almost new! and I really like those rims. how long did it take you?
well i still have yet to put the new parts on my car. took me almost 5 years now to find these. there was an se-i once at the junk yard but they got rid of it before i could go and get these same parts. more than likely if the weather gets nicer, i'll be putting this stuff on the car. i think i'm going to get a rebuilt master cylinder at O'reilly auto parts which is about $65. i have a suspension/steering and alignment classes this semester, so i'm going to probably put these parts on at my house and align it at school. but for sure i'm going to post more pictures as i get it done.

Nice FIND!!
Congrats!

well actually i got these only thanks to wprocomp. and no, not too many SE-i's in the junk yards. most are still on the roads that i've seen around here where i live. noticed that the dust shields dont clear the 13's, so they will need to be removed. i've been informed that they are a bitch. either remove them or pull them back some toward the suspension.

ok, well i'll do that then. those are going to look sweet behind my wheels. i think i may paint the calipers red like i used to have with my original fronts. might as well show em off.

Either way good luck and hit me up if you need any help with the swap.
P.S. check the shock bushings I have two sets of rear se-i hubs, one has good bushings, the other bushings were completely shot.

i dunno how gold calipers are going to look on my gold car. although i thought of that also. red will go with the rest of my car, interior and what not. i'm having some crappy weather here, so i dont know when i'm going to be able to do this swap.

this swap shouldnt take very long will it? i have worked on the rear suspension of my car just in the drive way without a lift. although i should have all the parts and some extra ones. doesnt look too promissing with the weather. and now i'm more or less being forced to take up a job along with going to college full time. so now i dont know when i'm going to get a chance to get this done. guess i can end up taking up the garage for a while so i have a nice dry place to do this.

It won't take long if no bolts are seized. The lower shock bolts are notorious for rust-welding themselves on the rear, even on southern cars.Originally Posted by Legend_master

yeah, i've taken classes at college to do with suspension work and what not. not really a problem. just i didnt know how much time it would be to remove and install all these parts. i'll be using PB blaster, that stuff made taking my exhaust apart very easy and has been great when i've worked on my datsun's suspension. anyways, i'm probably going to go ahead and take the rotors to get cut up at school next week. if not there then at o'reillys thats down the street. i kinda want to paint the suspension parts black while everything is off the car. i dont think i'm going to be replacing the ball joints at this point yet. not really in my budget. maybe in my summer semester i can do that at school. hey MessyHonda, which master cylinder and proportioning valve did you use? i plan to try and use my master cylinder, my car is carbed, and a prelude valve.
