im sure you can just ask a hospital to do a blood sample and see wat blood type you are. but im sure that information isnt that important until the time arises and if that comes up then im sure they'll run a test to see wat you are.
maybe in japan they need to know your blood type in order to be a 3gee owner

Asking for your blood type is not a medically oriented question. Blood type is considered to be a personality determinator there. It's just a good way to add some info for yourself. It's kind of like if a US message board asked what Zodiac sign you were.
