Does anyone know if an A16A1 head will bolt up to an A20A3 block? And if so, what is the combustion chamber CC displacement difference? Possable compression boost?

That is what Rich was telling me. I don't think I would want to boost compression too much asnyway seeing as I plan to turbo. Also I would need to have a manifold made if I want to keep FI.

A16's aren't rare, they're just not in the United States. If you want one really bad, I'm going back up to Canada to get an EL head for my 81 pretty soon. I can snag the A16 head while I'm up there. It will probably be a month or two, but I will be going.
how much woult it cost
took a whole year but i got the 100th post
yet only took a month to get the 200th

I'll be putting an ET head on an A20A4 one of these days. Should give a nice boost in compression. I'll let you know how it goes.
A16, do you have the carb manifold? those are usually bare casts of the A20 manifold with no EGR and junk right?... very clean.![]()

I'm going to call a few yards up in BC in the next couple weeks and see what I can find. If you woudln't mind doing some investigation too, I would be willing to do the legwork. Preferrably something near the border, no further east than Chiliwack.
I'd look into getting couple of ET1 heads while your there too they came on 2nd Gen Accords non CVCC version much better for power and flow best of the honda heads for these engine IMO.
