    Re: battery relocation

I used 2gauge for my setup I took off the passenger fender and ran the cable thru the openings and than ran the cable thru the passenger grommet and kept the cable inside the car under the carpet
    Here's some of the pics

this is the fused junction block I used to run the power from the fuse box to the battery

I only relocated mine to the firewall and used 4 gauge audio power wire. I upgraded all the power and ground cables to the fuse box and alt using 4 gauge wire as well. and 0 gauge to the amp.

    Re: battery relocation

in my rex i used 4awg amp wire and i don't really like how it turned out. it doesn't seem to be powerful enough... i guess maybe the wire i got sucked but i'm gonna get some 2awg primary wire from lowes and redo the power. but i ran mine through the firewall under the carpet and to my hatch. i actually run a drycell odyssey pc680 battery which is only about 4 inches x 8 inches x 12 inches. but just make sure to fuse it good. i have a distribution block mounted to my firewall with the main going into it and then it's fused to the fuse box and two wires fused going to the starter. also upgrade all the grounds it helps a lot. oh and i have an inline audio fuse holder with a 60amp about 6 inches off the battery as well. so 4 fuses all together.
