yeah that is fine. if the meet ends up in portland we can head down, if it ends up in longview at my place then we are already set.
is there a reason we would do this on the 5th and not the 4th? i only ask cause if people have long drives back home, with work monday morning, it might be easier to make it back to work if we do the meet on saturday the 4th. but i will make sure i am free either day.
depending on the amount of people coming will make a difference on the level of success at my house. if there is like 10-12 people it will probably be fine there, but any more than that I can see parking being interesting. I will talk to my neighbors and see what I can come up with for parking.
but if its gonna be 20+ people i think we would have a better time at a portland park bbq or something.
lets start a signup somehow and get a tally going. usually only 1/2 of the people show up anyway. it was a decent turnout during the last couple meets i hosted though.

ok either one works for me. i mean i work pretty much every day buti i can get the time off. now another thing. if this is going to be a bbq style meet, whos going to bring what? i think we should make a list and kinda do it potluck style, like someone bring the burgers and dogs, and someone bring chips and pop you know stuff like that.
We'd definitely need someone who REALLY knows Portland to host and coordinate if we are going to do it in Portland. Either that or one of us is going to have to be the main contact point who calls / scopes out / arranges the location.

Well, I'm already going to cancel, I've got plans set up for that weekend that I forgot about. Maybe you guys wanna do it the weekend after?
i will be workin at PIR the weekend after... but we could easily do an evening meet. I should be off by 4:30 or 5. We could meet at PIR cause its easy to find and then just cruise to a place near by. I think i should be able to set up a good place if we want to do it in portland.
