read the thread man lol. we are meeting at a park and having a bbq. what do you want to bring?
if there's nice weather we could go to PIR late night drag races or something like that, but those don't start until 7-8pm. also its like $8-$10 just to watch, and if there is any rain they call it off with no refund. but who knows, if we have nice weather i am always down for a trip to PIR.

I was think'n that these meets were a little more than a BBQ; none the less it still sounds fun. Dang it; I wanted to put my car on a track and see how fast it goes. Zeph does plenty of track days in his accord normally, but he's not going to make it to this meet.though he mentioned possibly letting me bring his car so people could check out the quad carbed 282 cammed madness. (not sure if he will be able to let us borrow his car or not, he might need it)

So there are some drags going on that night eh? I think I should run my car! I have no choice, I am in! If someone will be there and not running, they should get video! My 20 second pass should be impressive!
If anybody has a camera and wants their car on video I will video tape them and be moral support!
ps does anybody need steelies lol i dont want to pay the dump $20 to get rid of them when people might be able to get use out of them for free!!

I have two 13" steelies in my garage, I'll take 'em off your hands so I have four. So if someone from Salem want's to bring'em back for me after the meet I'll take 'em; plus $10 for gas to who ever brings 'em back to me.
I'm always using my 17's as curb feelers, maybe I should buy some bumper poles, or put steelies on until I learn where the curb is, lol.
unless you have subs you can easily bring 2 13's in your trunk. or backseat. i will bring them in garbage bags so they won't be dirty. thats 2 down and at least 6 to go (i think)
If I have everything up and running, I can grab those steelies for you.

Alright so I guess I couldn't get the day off so I won't be able to make it. DAMN!
How about Aug 26th , In Portland.
This meet has to happen on the 18th - we already have a picnic area reserved and 2ndGenGuy paid the deposit!
Maybe we need to organize a second meet in the future, but this one is a done deal.
It's already been set: This Saturday the 18th. Sometime around 1:00pm at Kelley Point Park...

Sweet! I'm planning on buying food in Portland myself. Then you don't have to haul it all over the place, or wind up eating it on the trip! :-D
yeah same here i will buy my hot dogs and buns while im in portland. I will try to fit a cooler in my car, or maybe in 2ndGenGuys car if mine is full. then if we do need refrigeration for stuff like potato salads etc we can handle that for a little while. We can just fill up a cooler with ice when we get to portland.
ps is weather supposed to hold out? I have heard both rain and sun, but I have my fingers crossed.
i guess i should actually pick that stuff up in portland because we would end up eating it in the car i bet x_x
