i have a 89' Lxi, few mods. i put a new filter, spark-plugs, and wires, and everything else... but sometimes it just doesnt wanna start ither after i fill up with gas or just because. and when it does start sometimes it will sorta chug and then start kickin out smoke. and then ither i have to use Starter fluid, or wait about another 5 or 10 mins for it to start again.. and then it will run fine.?? any help????

my car would not start after i put some gas in it....i changed the cap and rotor and wires now and i have not had the same problem it could also be the main relay and opening your windows to let it cool down helps alot.
