    Part number for brass screw

Well I was curious if there is a part number or place where I could buy the brass screw that holds the venturi in place on the carb. Mine is missing one and I wanted to replace it.

Also, is there any suggestions for fuel consumption? I want to know if I could make it more fuel efficient.

Sometimes they only sell them with the whole assembly, but see if you can find it:

Im not certain the price new, but what you are going to pay for them you could by the whole carb used, maybe even less $$. Take the parts off the used carb.

I also need a throttle cable, mine keeps binding up and making the engine idle at about 2500 rpm.

BTW, is there any reason why this happens? Can I put some type of threadlocker on there?

hahaaa, that link is for Honda lawnmowers...
    that was good...

you may not be able to use any lock tite on the jet screws, or any screw that is hollow or has an orifice at the bottom. you could use a very tiny speck, just enough for two threads to get some on some of those screws though. be very carefull with foreign materials inside the carb, I think I I had to use something on a problem screw it would be the brush on type super glue.
