    sputtering/hesitation

What would cause slight hesitation and sputtering while idling in park, or sitting at a stop light in drive ? When taking off from a stop light there's a little sputtering/hesitation for a few seconds, then it goes away. It doesn't seem to be as noticeable in neutral.

    Re: sputtering/hesitation

in the ecu codes and how to check them thread, it says code 7 is throttle position sensor is either unplugged, or defective. Where is the throttle position sensor located on an 89 accord lxi ? I checked every plug i could find around the throttle body and they are all plugged in. How much would a new throttle position sensor cost ? When i replace it do I have to dissconnect the battery to reset the ecu ?
