    Exclamation obd-1

    hey guys i keep hearing about going obd-1 to get more power,how is this done and what does it do. also does anyone know if a 4g 's throttle body fit our cars! thanks.

    The benefit of going obd 1 is the greater ability to tune the motor for those of use who built motors or are turbo. There is really not much reason to do it on a stock motor since it will run better on the stock ecu since no one has had a stock motor tuned to make the map available to everyone else. If your just running a stock motor or even slightly built motor, not running forced induction, your probably better off with using a SAFC. Since you just need to adjust fuel and not adjust the ignition values much.

    yes i just picked up an OBD1 swap from what i heard you can tune the car so it runs better. i rememeber when justanothermike did his he said it pulled harder but that is with a built NA engine.
