    Question Rotting

I've noticed almost every single 3rd gen has rotted rear fenders... whose found the best and easiest way to fix this... I have putty in there, but it looks real bad... (I didn't do the work, bought it that way)

mine has barely none to. But buy some rust converter, which will try and stop the production of more rust. Then sand the rust areas down and make sure you take off any paint that you can tell there is rust under ( bubling ) sand it, primer it, bondo it if you have any holes and paint. The key is to stop it before it gets out of hand. good luck

no kidding...the rear fenders are a bitch..i was sanding it today, my hands are sore. both sides are rusting, found some holes on one side already. the rest of the car is goood except for the rear fenders.

so whats the best way to fix or fill those holes without going broke??
