Need a How-to on the adustable cam gear?

Just thought I would ask if anyone needs a step through on what needs done on putting on this Adjastaroo cam gear.

I'm fixing to install mine & need to know if I need to make one.

(I'll make one anyhow, for people that don't ask) there will be some.

Let me know if i forgot anything or need to be more exact on the procedure.

Advanced for initial/low-rpm bump in power.
Retarded for midrange/high-rpm bump in power.

First mark the belt so you can put it on exactly how you took it off.
Second, make sure it's at tdc by turning the crank pulley until the cam gear reads up (just in case)
Third loosen the bolt on the cam gear a smidgen.
Fourth loosen the tensioner bolt a smidgen.
Fifth take the bolt off the cam gear.
Sixth hold the belt (I used a bungee cord) as tight as you can, so it doesn't fall off the crank pulley.
Seventh put the new cam gear on and bolt. Do not tighten bolt all the way.
Eighth put the belt back on exactly as it came off the stock gear and tighten the bolt all the way.
Ninth make sure the mark that you on the belt matches tdc.
Tenth tighten the tensioner bolt, turn the crank 2 full revolutions to make sure it is still lined up.
Eleventh make sure to tighten the 8mm 12 point bolts on the cam gear
Twelfth make sure everything is ok before starting the car

I used my letter scale. The adjustru weighs 18 ounces, and the stock weighs over 22 ounces....it only weighs to 22, so it had an error.

What do you want to vote for, I'll make the adjustment, just post your findings in that thread though so we have some experience along side a degree mark.

does anyone else think the marks on the cam gear are sort of misleading? At first I was adjusting the gear by each number mark but then realized i was adjusting pretty much a full tooth. I've been running it a bit retarded for the last couple of days and it pulls really hard after 3500. The up line isn't even out of the box for me, and I advanced the dizzy all the way.
