I have what looks like a burn in the passenger side of the dash. It's in the foam and doesn't reach the plastic underneath. Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to fix it and possibly what paint I should use if I decide to repaint it. I'm not too big a fan of worn out blue/grey. Sorry if this has already been answered. I looked around for awhile and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Buy a dash mat.
sounds resonable but I wanted to got with a smoother look if possible. I was thinking of just pulling the foam off of it and sanding the plastic smooth, then painting it. I'm not a big fan of that foam stuff.
It's a pain in the ass to remove the dash too.
yeah tell me about it. I thought I would just knock it out in an hour. after getting to the screw under the ciggarrette light I just gave up.

sounds like fun. I think I'll take another crack at it tommorrow and see if I can't get it off and at least sanded. That car is still dirty as hell though. last owner obviously had a dog and a love for dirt. bastard. took me a whole day to get it clean enough for me to even consider driving it, and it still looks gross. hopefully you'll get picks tommorrow to see what I mean.

I paid a little over a grand. everything in the car works it's just really dusty. probably from sitting at Barger matson for so long
