carb engine problems (HELP PLEASE)

okay well this has started happening since about a month maybe a month and a half ago. i'll be driving around and then theres a long stretch of road so i go and floor it, well it takes a long time to actually get up and go, like it stumbles to take off. now this happens all the time, not just when i try to floor it, i'll try to speed up and it will stumble before it actually picks up speed. i'm thinking it could be the transmisson, fuel filter, or maybe its the spark timing, i honestly dont know...so any idea what may be causing it?

Are you auto trans?

You might want to adjust your throttle cable then readjust the tv cable then check timing and check fuel pressure/flow to the carb.
