PGM-Fi Light on Interm. and Code 01

Alright guys after driving a while, the 86's PGM-FI light will come on for a while, then eventually go off. I'm also thworing a code 01. I just wanted to see what you guys thought before I pick up a o2 sensor. Oh also what did you guys get in terms of 02 sensors? Denso, or Bosch or other>? Another question is when I go around a left hand turn my car cuts out a little, and I have some fuel loss, when my fuel is under a quarter./ Any ideas?

I haven't had to buy an o2 sensor but I would say don't buy it from autozone. If you could elaborate on your other problems we may be able to help more. Explain "fuel loss".
My other car gets about 6 miles to the gallon.

your problem is your float heights too low and the fuel goes to one side of the bowl when u corner and the jets dnt get ne fuel (had that issue back in the day aswell)

when it comes to oxygen sensors im not an expert

and i have no idea what would make your car cut out a little when cornering, mine only does that when its just about out of fuel. maybe u have a large dent in ur fuel tank that ur gauge is reading wrong and ur actually nearly out of gas (i do it all the time)

Well code 01 is gone, it was in fact the 02 sensor, but i still have the gass loss around left turns problem. This only happens when Im pretty low on fuel.

It sounds like the the fuel is sloshing away from the pickup. your pump and pickup is on the drivers side of the tank. Your sender is on the other side. When you turn left that would move the fuel away from the pickup.

Did you happen to take off that stock air system that came with the car? if so that vaccume line that came off of it will throw that pgm thing after a while intermidently.
If you're not breaking parts, you're not making enough power!

It happened way before the removal of the stock box. It should be remedied by the 02 sensor, as it has not came on yet. I guess I'll see after longer driving.
