photoshop... after erasing the middle part... desaturating... brightening... and a lil trim... the circle was good to go. The words are done with the font someone posted.... nothing fancy.

OH, I'm not saying that im the king of design or art or anything of the sorts, but I have to defend my reasoning behind the design I made versus the ones previously posted:

First, I believe that the logo should be in ONE font or two similar fonts. Having two contrasting fonts makes it look like two different logos.
Second, It also should be done in a sans serif font. This means that there are no "tails" on the letters. It can be done, sure, but generally for an "unofficial" advertisement or document, a sans serif font is used.
Third, I wouldn't want a big cartoony logo on my car so please no curly letters. Cursive is cool in moderation.
Fourth and most importantly of all, I put the 86-89 Accord part on the logo because that's what we stand for. Besides being a member of 3geez dot com, we are members of a huge cult of people who love 86-89 accords and I thought that putting that in a smaller-case showed pride for who we are. Its the same thing as if going and buying a Honda decal that just said "Honda". Sure, you drive a honda... but it just doesn't get the job done. Not only are we members of 3geez, but we're a group of 86-89 accord "entusiasts", much more than just a website powered by Honda.

THOSE are the things I thought about when doing the logo.

By the way, I'm not saying that I didn't like the other designs and I know nobody was attacking mine... I just thought I should explain and maybe get others to consider the same thigns when designing a logo themselves. WHOEVER finally starts production on one of these logos has a lot of people to please and I will be a hard one to do that for. I'm getting one made of mine for five bucks soon I hope. Once I see how this shop does, maybe I'll post about others getting them if anyone wants one.
