    Excessive bumping

I can't remember complaining about anything on this site, but I finally found something. User "gucci mane" and the thread: Re: FS: good Daily Driver....

There are seventy-something posts on the thread, and 21 of them (not including the originals) are him bumping it up. The thread can be ignored, but I do get an email whenever a new message is posted on a thread, so it's a pain.

I feel there should be some guidelines on the bumping thing. Thx.

I put him on my ignore list. Maybe that will do it.

I really need to find out number 4 haha.

I agree with w261w261 that bumping a thread several times a day gets annoying. I bump mines like once every 2 weeks or even once a month.

Yeah you can unsubscribe even directly from the 3geez email I do believe.
Or you can set your preferences so that you do not receive updates in your email, and you can come back and just check out the control panel to see replies.

    Not that tough...

I said something about all the bumping being annoying, and his response was.that he would continue to bump it until the car was sold. i think he's wasting bandwidth is what i think.

    Re: Excessive bumping

nah not really. it was a MINT SE-i coupe. small dent in rear quarter (that he ommitted from his original posts (first two weeks) ) Only thing keeping people from buying it was that its auto and on the wrong side of the country (not california basically)

    Re: Excessive bumping

^I went and looked at the car...not what I would consider mint. At a glance there were two or three dents down the passanger side. There was also a good dent on the front of the hood, and the front bumper was fairly faded, turn signals weren't clear, and the grill was cracked in a few spot. Interior was a little dirty and the leather looked rough, and windshield is cracked infront of driver. Maybe I'm being picky, but oh well.

    Bump!

So lets get this straight. The car isn't overpriced, but nobody is buying it? An item is only worth what someone will pay for it... so doesn't that mean it's overpriced?

    Re: Excessive bumping

Even if it is, it's not necessary to have 38 people jump in and post "zomg, you're asking too much moneyz!!".

If you're not buying it, or even considering it, there's no need to post. Pretty simple, really.
