some of those roads up there, the best squirrely ones are that hard rock imbedded asphalt. You will eat up some tires if you are driving like a rabid squirrel
I like the ones that follow the rivers, plenty of stop off places.
If those wheels are not 15" you wont be able to upgrade the brakes, they wont clear the caliper. Not a big deal though.

Get some real tires, and then maybe let's talk about awesomesauce handling.
Shitty tires= shitty handling.
Pick up some rs2's or azenis and see how that works out.

^Have a pair of falkens for some 14s, but probably not going on these wheels, might go on the basketweaves.

Actually .. now that y'all mention it, I've never thought to check.
When I mount up a wheel, I tighten each lug by hand, working my way around several times before ever breaking out a lug wrench. That way nothing gets cranked down off center. One of my wheels is a little bit bent on the inside edge too, but I've never had any noticable wobble or shimmy from the wheels.

2000 Montero Sport 4x4 (beater, trail rig)
That is the wrong assumption.Non Hubcentric wheels balanced or not will usually make a difference, even if it is so slight you cant feel it. With stocks on my ride is much smoother and less jarring, but with the nonhubcentric paoline alloys I have, i get a rougher ride. Also considering the tire profile is smaller.
Many hubcentric rims do NOT use the conical tapered lugnuts. My Toyotas do not. The lugs end up being a sleeve that fits in the rim's hole. The rim is held to the hub by only a clamping force.
And if I do not an aftermarket (non-hubcentric) rim, I will get a bad shimmy at speeds above 60mph. What is funny, is I can "fix" it by retorquing the rims on or taking them off and do anything with them, but within 5-10 miles of driving, it's back.
That tells me the rim is moving, even if so very slightly.

Anyway though if the mesh wheels i get are a bigger hubbore, guess ill look for some hub rings, to maybe fix it, cause i dont want any wobble, or the slightest bit of vibration.

Yup my 4th one this year. Had to put on a new set of rear tires before I went....Falkens that I have suck, theyre so soft. They're not too bad but, i actually like my Fuzion Hris in the front better than the Falkens in the rear.

Oh that's awesome. Look at all the little Civics!
Have you had an alignment done? If your toe is off it can seriously fuck your tires. I know it's so obvious it probably didn't need to be asked, but hey.
great camera! I dint get to see the mountains this fall , looks like the leaves are almost done already. Great scenery anyway..
hanging around a bunch of Civics
j/k
Btw I didnt take those pics lol. But yeah it was a very fun day. I was usually in front or leading, so Thats why im barely in any pics lol.

Well guys went and finally took my wheels off the MR2 today and cleaned em up a little. Here they are.
When i first got em home, after pumping the dryrotted tires up lol.
After Cleaning:
After test fitting one on the car to check clearances, etc.
Ok so here is some info.
Pros: They were free, they are the most gorgeous wheels ever, they fit and are same lug pattern.
Cons: Tires are all bad, Theyre still pretty dirty, so i need to deep clean them lol, 2 Have small bends in the back sides of them (they hold air thuogh, and roll straight), I need new centercaps, Unfortunately the hub size on the wheels is a fraction smaller than the Honda hub size if you can see in the pic, so Ill have to get them bored out a tiny tiny bit, and I thnk two of them need to be refinished or at least the lip polished.
Besides that they are truly wheels that are works of art anfd I love them.
Oh yeah also they are MSW Wheels made By O.Z they are 4x100 6x14 with a 38 offset.
Cheers.

So ya finally got them, huh?
Take some glamour shots! It's hard to say what they really look like without seeing them on the car.
They will be on the car after they get redone which probably wont be for a while lol.
