All sanded and buffed now , looking flash .
Have the doors mostly back together and some stereo wiring run.
Just back form the machine shop, block is bored and main has been repaired and line bored .
bottom end is balanced and goes back together next week.
Just need the valve seats recut for the o/s valves and the valves refaced and the motor is pretty much done.
It taken a while , and had a few minor component mods, but i should have the b20a back in time for easter .
A wee warning to those building a forged bottom end for oneof these .
Make sure you check rod length , i was lucky the rebuilder checked everything over or i would have been able to run diesil .
12.8:1 compression ratio, bit much for pump fuel .
Shaved the pistons and now down to a more friendly 10.8:1 .

Finally got the engine in a few weeks ago , dosnt take long when you have the rad support taken out , 15 or 20 minutes maybe .
Have drivers side drive shaft in and new brake rotor on that side , having some braided lines made up as well , bout 100 dollars a side .
Nice new walbro 255 liter per hour fuel pump in the tank .
Have the piping and mufflers to make a nice 2 1/2 inch mandrel bent exhaust .
Still have to wire an ecu in , but that wont take to long .
Just a matter of finding the time to do it .
Trying to talk my way into a weekend on a nice big mainline 4wd dyno to tune it which i'm going to do myself under the eye of someone more experianced .

New ecu turned up the other day. Link atom g4+ 2 for those interested. goes with the innovate wide band controller. also discovered today that 1998 subaru wrx seats are dam near bolt in for a 3g. Only a spacer to make and it's done. should have first starting done inside the next month. Only taken 10 years to get this far

It woulb a bit a mission to see us all. I'm right at the bottom of nz , A18A is right near the top and AccordB20a is somewhere in the middle.
It would be a 2 day drive for me to get up where they are , and i dont think my car would be terribly suitable for a trip of that distance
we should have a nz meet in 2025. we should all have our cars going by then
At the moment , that's probably a realistic time frame .
Sooooo, It's 2025 now! When's the meet happening xD
