Did the 3G ever come with a diesel engine?

i can get you a A20 from japan for cheap. $700 to the door with like 30K on the motor.(longblock only) the one in my car now i got from them and dropped it in. hell i could even come up there and help you drop it in. i remember back in the day when i used to frequent CB7Tuner we used to talk about meeting up and doing something with the accords. lemme know whats good man. i'm glad you got the 3G back.

If I can't rebuild the current one for less, I may go for that $700 is a lot of money for a stock replacement, but that's still a decent deal!

We'll definitely have to meet up sometime, regardless. I've been dying to get a meet at Atco Raceway... the unfortunate thing is that it'd be on a Tuesday or Wednesday for street night, and most people that are over an hour away won't make the trip

Next time Bisi races up there, I'll get a meet together He's more of a hero to the CB7 guys, I suppose, since he races with an F22... but it's carbureted, so that should be cool to the 3geez guys!

lol u may aswell pay me $1500 (estimate) and get a jdm b20a and 5 speed from me. you can use the a20a intake manifold/axles ecu/loom/pedals/shifter so shippiung the engines the costly part

Man, I wish I had $1500 to spend! I'd love a B20A! I was looking around today to see where to find them, even! Down the line, if you can still do it, I may take you up on that.

After thinking realistically about the project, I think I'm just going to rebuild the A20A for now. I know I'll want more power later on, but the building experience will be valuable, and it's a very inexpensive and forgiving engine! The B20A might be the best choice later, since turbo or an H22 swap will require some pretty major work.

is the seventh gen accord diesel sold here? have you thought of locating a wrecked one and doing that swap? i'm sure that car isn't nearly as popular as the gas engines and the parts may be cheaper.
