OBD1 Swap and Header Install pics

pacesetter ceramic coated headers with O2 bong for obd1 tunning goodness and stock flex pipe cuz the guy wanted 200 bucks to install a 2.25 flex and welded to the cat so thats why i told him to use my old stock one...it flows fine.....it revs up a whole lot smoother in the RPM range.

il get more detailed pic for the write up he did on here.

thanks to Anthony he is a lifesaver...it did not hurt to ask him because now we have a somewhat better detailed information for obd1 swap for the guys that plan to run turbo. im going to stay NA...for...now...you never know what i might come up with...

time to get rid of some of those extra vacuum lines and a few other parts if you can still pass inspection with them removed. no more black box, and egr are the biggest parts, and maybe the metal vacuum lines.

well i just got rid of my black box...it was fun taking it out. its not dyno tuned because i want to install the cam and the skunk2 mani on it. it should be putting out around 120-130whp by then.

i did go to the free dyno run and it made 112whp and 115lbs of torque.

Are you revving it to 7500RPM on the dyno? Cos that's where that cam makes it's power! It will be pretty kick ass to see that, and I bet it pulls nicely. I'd expect to see closer to 130whp, assuming your torque curve stays consistent when it shifts up.

the poor engine wont go over 6500....but that is where the obd1 swap comes in i can get it tuned for low even even with the cam and once i hit like 3500RPM it should take off...and murder civics.

belive it or not but you feel the diff when you drop AC, car feels nimbler, and seems to keep the engine a bit cooler 2 with more air flow in the engine bay and stuff, less weight benifits every aspect of the car so whens the cam and mani going in?
