we need a simple free page so it will tell us whats going on when the site is down, if we log in and it's suspended or abducted by alien,or cahs's parents, etc. we will know whats up. like a simple geo cities page.

It's not that complicated. If it's a suspended page, then it's a billing issue. If the site doesn't respond or it's slow, it's a server issue out of our control. If we're working on the board software and have to turn off the forums, then we put up a notice for that. I can't be around to update a webpage every time the server farts, but our host maintains a page where it lists the servers and their status. We're on Gaius. http://status.asmallorange.com/

yea whats going on with the constant timed out messages with firefox? somedays it's almost impossible to surf the site, also i could be reading a thread and go to do a search, and it makes me have to wait 20 seconds to search,even though i've been on the same page for ten minutes. sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. how can i be doing searches too fast if i wasn't searching before?

MY observation is the curser on the post I am typing is flashing like ninty times a second, until I hit stop on the browser bar.
I dont think it is the board though really.
