Front of the hood sits about 0.5" in yet is fine on it's supports, so the front must be bent. Front bumper no longer attached to fenders. One folding fog light smashed.
Was the internal access garage, which now has a big hole in the plasterboard.
Thats what you get for reaching inside and starting the thing without checking it's in gear lol.
This is going to cost hundreds, mainly on the wall.

2nd 3g down in a week or so my 89 the laurel got hit 3 days ago pushed the fender in a lil and smashed the corner light dident find that out till yesterday
someone left a note with a number but it wasent the person that hit it and they dident get a plate number just a possible make and color

Didn't the 88-89 accords have clutch switches? I know the 2 86's I have owned did not have them.
^^i thought the clutch switches where for the cruise control??
anyways yeah that sucks
his is a 86. and he swapped it from a auto so im guessing he didnt put a switch on the clutch when he installed it. i didnt either but it is a wise idea. but i allways put my car in gear and then out of gear before i start it so i never have that issue. im pretty sure clutch switches arent on the jdm accords its a usdm thing.

Well after getting home and taking a good look it doesn't seem too bad.
Pulled the hood back in to shape, removed the smashed grill which has only been on the car a week lol. Looks like I will need a new bumper though, this one now has crease marks in it. Lucky for me I already have one.

One is fine, the other is bent. Will remove the front bumper on Saturday. I'll have to get the one from the EXL-S painted. At least that gives me an excuse to get the folding mirrors and side skirts painted too
