Was Bored and missed playing tapes

ok i have a ton of tapes and cant play them due to no tape player.
so i went to the junk yard and got that tiny plastic 8 pin plug thing so my old radio would work.
and dug around the garage and found my old center console
i did some paint work on it (yes i know i messed up on the right side the damn wind blew a peace of paper in to it )
and then i mounted the radio where the tape holder used to be
.
im going to make a harness and wire it to one speaker

anyway heres some pics

did some more work i got the speaker wired up made the harness found a knob for the radio (stole it off a old dryer b4 it went to the dump, yes its very ugly)
after all this work i have not tested the radio yet i'm going to be hella pissed if i do all this and the radio is dead DOH,

haha yes the door panel was in the trunk when we got the car it had grass and weeds and all over it and was siting in the snow on the side of the lady's house lol so the door panel is bent alot so when i snapped it on with the clips it would just un pop its self

lol so duckt tape was a cheap fast and easy fix haha

yeah its from a washing machine....so that means it will wash the car by it self.

So... you havent installed it yet. I bet it wont fit too well. i did the same thing when i had my radio in it and i had to take that whole tape holder doofer right out....

woO0oOt its installed and works great played my Bon Jovi tape fine but will only play tapes one way when the head flips over (or W/E it does) it sounds like someone is dieing and not singing haha

agreed, you added a 5th speaker and a entirely new harness? when you coulda tapt into the allready 4 speakers and had it sound normal? poor poor plan. might wana remove those dry wall screws, might snag someones pants then you might loose your bumping system
