Is this for the dizzy hole? If so do you want it on the top and bottom? Right now the program has the d'ring and the o'ring on the bottom.

heres what the bottom looks like with out the bolt holes
Just on the bottom. What you have looks good.

Can't think of anything else except the cam key. I'll get dimensions for that after the plate is mounted so we can get the correct offset. I ordered the viton o-rings. After we get everything sorted out, I can send you the bolts and required o-rings. I might also put some kits together for others.

you would need rings on the other side of the plate....it wouldnt need to seal would it?

edit: you WOULDN'T need rings on the other side of the plate....it wouldn't need to seal would it?

No, only on the back side. The thermostat housing already has a groove for a D-ring to seal the front. The dizzy has an o-ring that seals against it's hole, just like stock.

    Any suggestions on o-ring material?

did you want a o'ring on the coolent port or a d'ring? A o'ring would be easier to get then the d'ring.

    Re: Blueprints?

I want it to fit a stock D-ring. The mounting surface on the head won't allow for anything else. I suppose one could find the correct size o-ring and bend it to fit in the slot...

    Re: Blueprints?

    Of course.
All that would be left is the cam key. I'm going to try and find a 4g at the yard monday with the dizzy attached, see how it lines up at TDC, and find out what offset is needed when I get the plate. Should be easy, provided they have one there...

So i talked to my girlfriends dad today and he said he would ship the part(s) for me. So that saves on the shipping costs. He said he would use fed x next day cause thats all he ever uses.

So after were done with this project I hope someone else has been inspired to wanna make something, I'm always up for a good challenge..

    Re: Blueprints?

i was thinking of making the trim around the door handle out of aluminum i can supply the plate thick enough. would that be scannable? talking about the inside part, the plastic one that looks like crap. with all the interior work on this car that would look awesome. would you need one edge squared in the bridgeport first?
