My mastercam rep gave me a link to download it. Ill be out of town for the holidays, but ill get it done as soon as possible. My girlfriends dad offer to run them when we have a finished product at no cost cause he thinks its cool what we are doing and theve be really slow in there cnc department(for like 5 months).
glad to see you're out and safe those charges probly be dropped since you were swinging at four dudes and he just stepped in. keep up the good work and keep those stiches clean
Hey i was wondering if you could do a new post with all the dimensions for the key so i don't have to keep scrolling up and down to look for them. It would make it a little easer.
hey crucial, working out a deal to get an aluminum valve cover then i can get started on the other project i was talking to you about lol. glad your not in the slammer.
Thanks lol.
Thank you
Ok im gonna do the groove, outer and inner diameters on a manual lathe. Then the teeth and through hole and a cnc mill, that way the part is truly round.
Hows the bottom of the key connect to the original teeth?
Does the pin go straight through it?
Never mind i see.
So is the through hole still in the same place?

The original hole is perpendicular (90º) to the key teeth. The new key will need it to be offset an additional 117º.
So looking at the toothed end, 153º CCW from the key teeth, 27º clockwise.
The hole will be centered on the 0.946" width, not to the side like the teeth.
Let me know if there's anything else, thanks.
so anything?
