Exclamation 4g distributor adapter for obd-1 conversion

If anyone's got any blueprints or some kinda drawing with dimensions on it ill be happy to run them, i do mostly C.N.C milling but have access to a whole sheet metal and C.N.C shop.

If any one was wondering what C.N.C stands for its Computer Numerical Control.

Four distributor keys are nearly done as well, just need to add the groove for the snap ring. So I know the first two are going to LX-Incredible and then we'll have to figure out who is next in line. Let me contact LX-I and see how he wants to work this, as I think he has the seals and maybe some bolts that are supposed to go with this also. So stay tuned.
And I'll be getting more material here shortly for another batch so don't worry about missing out.

    Standard AS568-# sizes:

    221 -plate o-ring
120 -can be used as a replacement for metric size that goes on the distributor itself

    Viton recommended for o-ring material.

Fuck, I never knew what CNC stood for. I never questioned it for some reason. That's awesome.

Why not A to B-series mounts? If any of the guys that run b-series engines could create a replica or provide some dimensions of there mounts... Would be nice

CNC is sooo badass I got to play with a machine awhile back, a buddy of mine was in Industrial Design and we were making plastic cell phones with extreme detail!

    !

we've been down that route, no1 with the mounts is willing to share, which i can totally understand. they paid good money for theirs, why should they.

I think what crucial is saying guys, is that he cant/doesnt want to do any r&d, and reverse engineering (sending him parts and asking him to replicate them) is hard as hell.

Actually replicating parts is fairly easy. We have a scanner a work the takes a 3d scan and outputs the dimensions. On the R&D, i would like to get something going that i can use on my car as well. But if there are several people that want something made like the mounts, then it needs to be more of a team effort then just an individual. I can't imagine that they would be to difficult to make. Course i might be thinking of the wrong thing but i'm thinking i would lazer like a 3\8's sheet of steel and bend it to shape on a break press. ( i think one of our presses does like 150 tons or up to 3\4 SS)

Anyways, should probably take a poll on what to make first.

If anyone wants to see a few shots of the shop let me know.

    Re: Blueprints?

How about those adapter plates for the ODB-1 dizzy conversion? I remember that being a CNC topic awhile back...Tell me if I'm wrong but if a thin adapter plate is made you don't have to hack up the newer dizzy to get it to fit, right? Anyone remember this ? Could make that conversion simpler well besides the tons of rewiring...

hahah that waterblock is pretty radical!

I sure wouldn't mind a 'top hat extension' for the rear struts so that we can EK civic struts and not be totally slammed. Still trying to figure out the best way to make them though.

Need dimensions and material used to know the price. If u know them i can make one of each and let you know.

Just to let every one know most machine shops charge $150. per hour plus material.
Ill charge for the material and like $10. an hour. Most programs take 5-10 minutes to wright and about the same time to run them unless its a huge part then will work something out. I have free access to the shops and get discounts on material. And if the part is small enough can probably get the stock for free.

Ah bike carbies! What size MM bore are they? I have some 39mm Mikuni's...So your making a intake flange for them? I made my setup using the old EFI intake manifold...it was a bitch. Good luck tuning those things...mine were a blast haha Do you have any pictures of the flange your making? I may decide to get one from ya so I can re-weld everything correctly this time.

PS get yourself a wideband O2 sensor...
