3Geez Instant messanger

Has anyone ever thought of a 3geez instant messanger I know someone in this forum has some programming skills. Myspace has a IM now so why not 3geez lol. would server space matter or is 3geez's server already big enough for that? I dont know what all goes into an instant messanger. I have alot of computer skills just not much in the IM area.
It would make it easier to communicate with people and you wouldnt have to give your AIM SN lol I dunno maybe this is pointless but I just had the idea and wanted to share it

everyone just uses the aim chatroom, it's usually pretty busy at night. the room name is thirdgenerationaccord

well the chatroom is so you can talk all you want about anything,and it doesn't require making a post for it.

lol I was off work today and had to watch my son and he was sleeping and I couldnt do much else but mess around on here lol you knowhow you always say only a few minutes on 3geez and it turns into hours lol

just install aim,the room is thirdgenerationaccord. i just invite myself. i didn't install the latest version,i like the older ones. i got mine from forrest,but you can get it from oldversion.com just ignore the aim promps when they ask you to upgrade.

first I went to aim.com thing and downloaded , but nothing really happened, it did not seem like any download... then the home page just kinda froze so I said.ok... wtf
so then I went back to the thread and copy paste the link and put it in a fresh browser box (IE) and it said module not found...
this is the same one that is on cell phones??? I have one of those, I will get my wife to set it up again so It willl be just push play next time
PS I have not had any issues really with the machine I am using right now, its WXP ... doesnt say pro but when the screen saver comes on it says pro..??.

might just be a screensaver....you can usally tell when you boot up the computer what version it is. or in system info. so is your wife the computer expert? lol.

go to oldversion.com and load one of the old 5.9 versions. the 6.0 version sucks and is made for teenyboppers. you might have to go to programs and delete any old version of it you might have tried to install, also check to make sure your flash player software is working. i was even able to run the old 5.9 on my old pos computer i had. crashed a lot,but sometimes it ran.

actully version 6.5 just came out, i myself hated 6.0 aswell but i dont seem to be haveing problems with 6.5 like i used to have with 6.0 along with the 20 some odd color selections it matches my computer (only took aim so long lol) but its still a tabed set up vs. the sevrel window setup

no I can do it but sometimes I just dont have the patience, that is why I am relaxing surfing the forums. I will install it later, Lost, like you said.. .
I discovered this particular machine has been overwritten with xp pro.. I found some nice programs in window exp that are not listed at all on the start menu programs list...
I have some good questions for a compurter guru I will post on a thread later, I want to switch this drive to the athleon 800 mb, but I dont want any hitches or mess up this drive either.It is working great but there are no mulitmedia devices on it.

oh and im sort of a computer guru also I have been messing with computers since I was 7 lol so if you have any question im willing to try to answer. and and athlon 800mb? not fimiliar with that. if your talking about the harddrive I didnt know athlon made any?

Yep, I have a amd athlon with a raedon9000 vid card and sb 5.1 and dvd rom but I cant get any drivers for W98se to work right, and I have tryed to install xp pro and 2000 pro, and it wont finish install on either, something about lost the ntsbt or something like that... I would love to just take the hard drive out of that machine which is an intell 400 HP mb, and pop it in the amd 800 and start using it with all the mulitmedia hardware. Then at least I think having that hard drive in there I could expand the os to work on a larger slave drive.
I dunno, just talking about it gives me a headache.
