    Fall's Upon Colorado

Well fall is rolling around, and im having a hard time finding time to get good pictures, but here are a few ive taken over the past week or so.

I have a harness bar and buddy club spec 2 exhaust on order.

Also going to sand down the interior floor panel (trunk area, and the area under the rear seats/panels) and spray them to color match the exterior of my car so i can strip my seat out and not have to worry about it looking funny with silver/sound deadening all over it.

    Here are the pics:

    Re: Fall's Upon Colorado

Heres pics of the harness bar, I've since removed the 2 outer Corsport stickers, and the DG Industires sticker on the front, the DG one was on it initially, i added the 3 corsport so i could get an idea on if i wanted to keep the middle one, or the outer 2, i chose to keep the middle one.

Let me know what you think. Ill get more pics later today, when the suns up.

    Comments welcome.

    Re: Fall's Upon Colorado

i didnt prop the hood thing for "looks" or kuz i think it "looks cool".

I hate the look of it, actually.

But its done because it has an h22, with a full size prelude koyo radiator, and i dont have room for a fan. Yes ive tried a slim fan, no, it doesnt fit.

So by propping the hood up, and removing the rear seal, when im sitting in traffic it gave me more time before i started to over-heat. Previously, (before the hood prop), the car would start overheating within 10-15 minutes of sitting with the heater at full blast. After the hood was propped, and the seal removed, it gave me an extra 5-10 minutes.

That extra 5-10 minutes may be the difference of me moving again. So it pays off.

atleast you have the true reason for it not the "CAH" reason or the looks thing. have you looked into tubed cooling?

Looks really good. Sucks for the overheating problem. So is there anyway to get a fan in there or are you SOL?

did you have a fan shroud on it? im sure the shroud helps out alot in routing air.

no, wicked accord is running a dual core aluminum radiator, and has room for a fan.

If i go dual core, half size, i, again, will not have room for a fan anywhere.

A B in an accord, is quite a bit different than an H in a civic, even though the accord is turbo, theres still more room in the engine bay.

    Looks good.

How do you like those tires and what size? I was thinking about maybe a 205/40/17 or maybe 215/40/17.

    Re: Fall's Upon Colorado

    205/45/16

    and i absolutly love them

i can boogy down the highway at 80mph in 2" of standing water without any problems at all. They have both AMAZING dry and wet traction (hence the name, KDW)

Ive driven conservatively on them, and so far ive got about 12,000 miles on them with a good alignment, and having them re-balanced/rotated once a month, and im not even 10% into the tread depth.

Only thing i dont like about them, is yes, they MUST be balanced at least once a month, they are BFG, and all bfg's go out of balance fairly easy, and often.

    Re: Fall's Upon Colorado

Hey i was looking at some pics of Civics and i ran across a Civic with an H22. The slim radiator fans were mounted on the outside, not the engine side of the radiator but the other side. Just a thought. He did not have a A/C condenser, not sure if you have A/C or not.
