Open Door\Seatbelt light stays on

Hey guys,

I have an '88 Accord 3dr Hatch and I have a prob. The light on the dash, Door\SeatBelt stays on even when the doors and seatbelts are closed\buckled. When I accelerate hard it briefly turns off for a second then just stays on.






Is there anyway I can reset this or short it out or possibly trip the sensor.

I had this problem about a month ago and I shot penetrating oil into the switch on the door jamb and worked the stop in and out for awhile, I haven't seen the light for about 3 weeks so I guess it worked. But you may have to tighten up the door by moving the catch in some.
