I have raced plenty of H swapped gutted hatches and they still don't beat Me, So unless your car is a freak then it's not going to work.

Oh and btw, Im not worried that you car is just as fast and cost 1/4 of the amount. I have plenty of money..

    Holy E-war! LOL
This thread got egotistical way fast.

    damn guys, seriously.

Too many variables to call either a good kill, OR BS. Racing on the street is hard to call in most cases. There are guys that think they beat my friends 550hp prelude because they floored it, while we stayed out of boost, minding our own business.

You want to compare vehicles performance accurately, then take it to the track.

    word.

Im all done with the arguing...its the exact reason my sig says what it does....for every 1 decent civic driver there are another 10 lined up thinking they have gods balls under the hood..

Halxi, your car is fucking super clean as always...not quite sure what it is about that color but it is absolutely outstanding...

The red one is just nice and simple...clean

deadhead....like the wheels, although i am a bit biased What do you have done to your car? You said earlier in the thread you were going H..but whats done now? What kind of exhaust is that on the car?

    Re: Old School Members

Like i said, the way i look at it... he was in fact on it, i had about half a car on him when he let off for whatever reason (as he WAS catching).

As far as im concerned, i beat him. If we went again, it would probably be different, but i really dont care lol, my cars definatly not the fastest out there. Its faster then quite a few things, but the opposite could be said as well.

    Thanks cubert.

Just picked up a new job making some good bank, so, hopefully it'll go somewhere.

Nothing extravagant is done the the car right now.

    Generic I/H/E
The only things I know about the exhaust is this: Pacesetter header (bleh), magnaflow 22in resonator, and it's quiet. Had other people drive the car to make sure I got ALL the rasp out of the exhaust, and I must say, i'm satisfied. I can drive down the highway at any speed and still hold conversation w/o yelling

    Koni Reds
Evotion springs (Never buy these.... not progressive rate, so they ride like shit and wear out struts fast)
    Tsudo Front Camber kit

The H that is going in the car is a Frankenstein swap. H23 Vtec.

For those that are unfamiliar with those, its the H23 shortblock with an H22 head. I'm going to be using H22 pistons, which will bring compression up to approximately 10.5:1 with the longer stroke of the H23. I could go into more detail, but I won't bore you with all the random parts needed lol.

Hoping for 190-200hp and 155-165tq at the wheels.

I'm still compiling parts, it's going to be a slow process. The goal is to have it swapped and running by January 22nd when school starts.

It will be fairly quick. Shooting for 14's at Bandimere (allocate 1.1 sec difference at sea level, so 13's essentially)

    Re: Old School Members

    This was fun to read.

I kinda like having a completely stock 70HP Civic. I can't even pretend I have any sort of rep to maintain. If I say I beat any car in a race, at all, ever, you'll know I'm lying.

And every Civic on this thread looks great. I still want to see more hatches though.

Of course I'm lazy. If I wanted to work on my car I'd have gotten a DSM
