installed the intake today. I Removed the blacktop cams from my gold top also and put some gold top cams from a engine that was manual on it so this should sort out my fuel economy i hope.

i must say theres a slight increase in power and also the intake note has changed a bit. with the dual runners i have the flaps shut so only the open runners work.... would this be best.. i want fuel economy not power lol
cool
1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
coming from mister anti black top :P
lol i know. but blacktop engines are gay. only good part wd be the intake lol
swap in a "A20" :p
You want the secondary runners to open at ~4000rpm otherwise that manifold does nothing.
yeah. thats my next plan to buy some sort of rpm switching thing
my plan is to get rid of the manifold....i hope to get my b16 mani soon.

B18c1 swap since 7/2011
175whp and 132tq
Redzone tuned
Yeah thats also on my list. but the b16 intake will be going on the rebuilt engine. ill prolly blow this one up when its done and time to swap it. Its allready blowing smoke when u rev it hard haha. Just experimenting with a crappy motor at the moment since i have no money.
so for best power from a b20a i want the manifold with out the secondary butterflys
blacktop one flows better im sure of it. just by the sound of the intake. but aparently the best wood be a b16 intake
