    Driveshaft Fitment Issue. Please help!

    Hey everyone.

I replaced my driveshafts with new ones from an 88 hatchback, manual. My car is a sedan however.

Could the sizes of the driveshafts differ from hatchback to sedan? If not, the clerk must have given me the wrong shaft becuase its about 2.5 inches too short

I would just like to confirm what exatly the problem could be.

    Again, Advice greatly apprecieated.

    Thanks.

I believe they are the same between the only difference is wether the car is A/T or Man.
I'm not too sure though but hopefully someone on here will post up on it

The passenger shaft is the same for all years and submodels. The driver's shaft is different only between auto and manual transmissions.
