New Member and a FREE accord updated pics

I am not only new to the site but to 3gs. I got this from my aunt which bought it new. It has 328k on origional engine and trans down to the carb. I just put in HID headlights, 95 civic seats (front and rear), amber leds in the gauges, short shifter.

leds look way brighter and more even in real life

    updated pics as requested

this one is of the bracket in the rear to fit the civic seats. needs painted but it works great.

this is how the exterior looks today. the $50 paintjob underway.

alot of time and effort. I ordered 100 orange leds and resistors from hong kong. then started soldering them into the origional bulb sockets. 4 in each to be exact. Im going to make the process a little better and brighter than might sell some clusters with them installed. thats a little in the future though

Did you have to do anything to the guages? since the Blue is built into the face?

nothing done to the gauges. just the leds and painted the needles with a transparent orange paint... its really thin, and light so wont effect the needle.

the seats and sliders are from the civic. 2 of the 4 bolts mounted up. then i had some 1/8" thick 1" wide steel so I made some " bracket adapters". If you have a welder, some steel, and the seats you can figure it out very easily.

I think that's only on the denso guages, the NS only have the blue in a few spots, they use blue bulb covers instead.

I bought them locally because mine were dry rotted. (i guess they tint cars for a reason.) haha. they look and feel so much better than stock. but i also have the option to bolt in pretty much any civic or integra seats now that i built the adapters.

Re: New Member and a FREE accord

well ill try to explain how to make them. literally if you have access to a welder it will cost you like $3 to make.

For the drivers side seat, the front right hole bolted up and the rear right bolted up. so those are good. now for the front left i just used a piece of 1/8 thick 1" wide 3" long steel plate. drilled one hole in the top and one hole in the bottom of it. basically you bolt one of the holes to the cars stock mounting hole, and bolt the other hole to the seat bracket hole. Sounds kinda weird but it works great and is sturdy. For the rear left seat bracket hole all you have to do is bend the same steel into a rectangle and weld it together. mine was 1" tall and 2" long. i drilled 1 hole in the bottom and one in the top. the bottom hole mounted to the cars stock bolt hole, and the top mounted to the seat bracket.

same thing for the passenger side.

It might sound hard or unstable but its super strong.
