its also usually called a windage tray, keeps the oil in the bottom end and from foaming at higher rpm's

just curious that you removed the PCV breather tube off the back of the oil pan. Wouldn't you have issues with the oil pressure in the bottom end? A few months back i got an oil pan from dorman that was almost welded shut and caused excessive oil pressure in the valve train. This resulted in oil in the intake and oil getting by the valve seals.

These cars already have a stock windage tray. The crank scraper grabs oil off of the crank to lighten the rotational mass of the motor

Pressure from the valve train will be released via catch can setup, I am waiting on the fitting's before I can fab it up.

Haha yes, a weekend job. Well fortunately I get a 4 day weekend and hope to make some good progress, thing's move slow throughout the week because I only have a few hours and lose focus. There still is a lot to do and thing's to wait for.. I hope to get it running this year, I freaking better.

Now.. off to get some work done.

    Thank you.

It was a good weekend, and went by very quickly.

First I wrapped up the engine bay and then I moved on to the interior(shudder).

Cut, strip, solder, heat shrink, repeat, and repeat.

I wanted to make it possible to remove the dash if necessary so I put a plug in.

I labeled everything for troubleshooting if needed, there is no way in hell I would ever remember haha.

The dimmer I bought didn't end up working for whatever reason(tried it when I bought it and it worked) so I never used it. I had to put the wideband box somewhere and under that other box worked out perfect. I'm happy with the way it turned out and everything fits.

The coil mount is a plastic template until I can source some aluminum.

Saved a bunch of space and it turned out well, I can reach just about everything without having to remove half the engine. I don't like the blue wires but oh well..

Some major progress is finally done.. only took months and months but I can move on. I think I'll mount up the intercooler and start the piping.

Actually I'd rather just make it out of metal and then send you the plastic, I will try to grab some metal this week.

    Some more goodies..

Mishimoto black intercooler, black piping kit(2.5"), greddy rs bov

No flange for this so I'll have to make one

Loving the black, it's going to be awesome when it's done! It'll also have that sleeper quality I want, plus it looks just damn sweet.

How do you plan to mount it? I guess it'll be different from me anyway.

I hope to get it attached this weekend!
