well do what i did. just get a decent junk yard tranny. what i did was look at the fluid condition. found one that had nice red fluid still and decided that was it. worked for me. mine was an automatic, dunno if your's is auto or manual. but you'd have best luck with a manual. well i hope you dont give up on the accord just because of a transmission problem.

Get a tranny at the junkyard. It shouldn't be to much.

    Re: whoops, no more tranny.

my tranny is a manual, i cant the jy tranny today cuz they just closed, but im in the process of rippin out the old one.
im not giving up just cuz of the tranny, i just really want want RWD or 4WD and when i get in the military, ill be making more money so ill be able to afford something. but then again, i might just buy a dd and save up for a B20 turbo. i love my car, but its always breaking down, then again, ive changed everything on it but the tranny and the alternator, and now im changing the tranny so everything is fairly new.

yeah, just be paitent and you can get the car you really want. basicly what i did. just set a goal and try to make it. if you're going into the military, you should soon have a good bit of money. just make sure and save up and budget well. being that the accord is old, you may want to get another dd and keep the accord as your project/fun car. thats what i've had to end up doing with mine. good luck with your tranny man.

looks like you lost a bearing or 2 and they got sucked into the gears, cracking the case. Ive never seen an accord case break in quite that way though
