raw gas

when i start my 3gee it spits out raw gas and when i rev it its like the whole car shakes and it just started this but before we thought it may have been the head gasket because it would put out alot of smoke that smelled like oil then that stoped so no it sounds like almost a rod knock but at about 4 on the tac it mellows out i did research but none of the problems a quite like this one

When you say start your car do you mean first thing when it is cold, or does it do this all day every time you start it>?

I know that valve seals will make these cars do that, and bad.. the knock sound and the smoke. Then it all just goes away for the rest of the day for the most part.

Do a compreesion test on each cylinder. It could be a bad valve seat, spring etc or a bad wire or spark plug as well.

well it does it every time hot or cold and then i thoought the burning oil went away but now it does it when i rev it and i so much smoke it fills the area i mean really

well if that is the case, you need to decide if it is fuel related, PVC, top engine or bottom end

Is it using a lot of oil now?
does it smoke the whole time you drive it in traffic?

i really dont drive it because it smokes so bad plus the motor shake really bad like it has a miss so it stay in the drive way but i think i will find a new a motor any body no were it can get one for cheap

a new head gasket from Honda will be about $35 I think. When I redid my head I bought a gasket kit from Honda for $114 and it contained all gaskets for the top end of the engine as well as valve stem seals and head gasket.
