Also, if it's brand new, it shouldn't be slipping, and it should take between 150-300 miles to be broken in. And you should never put full power down on a new clutch either.
nah its a really fucked 4th hand one, its all bedded in now grips okay. you think i could afford a new clutch? lol no way in hell, and plus a fucked one that doesnt bite as hard will prolong the life of my gearbox lol

okay since the alst update i modded and installed a new B16A2 Intake manifold, changed the oil, filter, plugs and have started to run the car on 95 instead of 91 octane fuel. went for a road trip on the weekend and over 700kms we averaged 11.9444km / liter and used only one tank

    Re: AccordB20A's Vigor Update Thread

    11.94400 (kilometers / l) = 28.0940298 miles per gallon

Not bad for a B20A I'd say! Sounds like it's running right now. Nice work.

    Re: AccordB20A's Vigor Update Thread

it should be better its rated at 12.4km/l but i suppose with my aftermarket modifications like the intake manifold and pod filter and the things that should be on it that arent like egr and iacv not to mention im using the gold top MT ECU not the 88-89 bullshit loaded one.

Im sure i can get better than 11 km / liter ive got an average of 13 before over a long trip so theres still a sensor or two thats fucked on my motor

lol i think the b16 intake made the power curve change so it brought the torque down to around 3000rpm where i cruise at 100k, 42PSi in the tyres for ultimate milage haha

divide km by 1.609 to get miles and multiply that by 3.8 or 4.4 to get miles per US gallon or imperial gallon.
    so 13 km is 8.07 miles x 3.8 = 30.7 miles per us gallon
or 35 miles per imperial gallon
