Engine out

The rebuilt B20A is out, The B18A is going in, Swapped all the shit over from motor to motor...
dropped her in
hooked it up
and away it goes, pretty good for like 4 hours work!
The B20A is going to a shop for someone to check the bottom end out for me
Man, you still have the best plate.
4 hours? crazy. Hope the rebuilt doesn't get rebuilt..
the plate stays with the car for the life of it over here. and i hope theres nothing too wrong with the engine either
the car will be staying at the height its at, its too impractical to be low, i want it to be comfortable as i have a baby due early next month and this will be the car we use to cart it around in......
the roads where i am are too rough, it already bumpstops on the bumps as it is without going any lower
must suck living in the NI, roads are shit and too narrow. 4 inchs ground clearance is a must with these cars to keep acceptable comfort , especially when kiddies are in the car.
and i must have missed it, but congrats on the soon to be little accordb20a.
its a wicked experiance being there for the whole thing. just dont look at the gf's fun bits, it aint pretty.
yeah i havent not broadcast it over the internets yet haha
New Battery today, 530cca. i left my fogs on for 5 minuites, went back and it wouldnt start so i decided to invest in another one
we have a century stand at work so i got one of them at cost price. the one that fucked out was a lucas, did pretty well for a 2004 battery
cheers guyz
did a bit of work on this today,
found of my heater water tap thing was leaking and theres where all my coolant was going, so i replaced it with another...
Took off the b16a2 throttlebody and replaced it with a b20b item, with a map sensor bolted on to it, i hooked the map sensor to the EGR wires sicne they share the same 5v power and at the ecu end i changed the pin so the map wire goes down through the pink EGR wire and to the new map sensor. wicked! pictures later...
11pm last night this happened!
then i wake up to this

the bigger rotors allow you to brake heaps an not make your center caps melt out of your wheels haha
