hey now they arent mine to sell. they belong to alex (3gcvc) i think he would sell them for like 300-400 :P jdm y0
but only a civic owner would pay that for them.

and the wheels i was going to scrap are the ones that came on my vigor when i bought it. But i think my mate is going to take them off me for the price of 2 tyres and fitting and balancing 4 tyres onto my rims
Another update, Man theres 72 pics in this thread...
Today i finished installing the cars wiring loom, pulled the carb off the a18a and installed the modified b20a distributer onto the a18a.
Installed the EFI engine loom and battery cables and have got power in the car. The windows wind up and down
when i turn on the ignition the main relay clicks on and clicks off like it should. All i need is fuel. and to grind out the head where the injectors squirt as in the photo and install the intake manifold and it should start. I have installed a TW sensor on this one so it wont run as rich as the last injected a18a i made. Anyway heres the pics. I had to steal the blacktop intake manifold of my b20.

Nice
2004-2011?
I want to go to your place, looks fun!
Yup its fun allright. we deal in 3 types of car. 2g prelude, 3g civic and 3g accords lol we have two of each currently haha but 3 preludes cause im borowing my mates one
Well, sorry to bring the bad news but this EFI conversion won't work that way.
1- The B20A distributor will not work, it's missing the cyl sensor the A20A ECU needs. The Cyl sensor is on the exhaust cam on the B20A engines. You abosulely need an A20A dizzy. The A20A has the TDC and Cyl sensor inside. It doesn't have any crank sensor.
2- The A18A head is missing the ports for the injectors like the A20A heads have.
You will need to drill them out 1st if you want to use that head.

i am in the process of porting the holes on the head out. But i had the engine running earlyer today.
so if the cyl sensor is the 2 wire sensor on the exhaust cam why does the engine run without it? I thought the cyl sensor was in the dizzy and the tdc sensor was on the exhaust cam.
the engine runs now, i think i ran it out of gas tho since when i crank it over it firess then stops then fires then stops. i had it revlimiting earlyer:P
oh and does the a20a dizzy have all 3 sensors inside it? Im running this off a b20 ecu
The car might run with one sensor missing but will definetly throw a CEL code.
The B20A has the Crank/TDC sensor in the distributor and the Cyl sensor on the exhaust.
The A20A has the Cyl/TDC sensor in the distributor and uses no Crank sensor whatsoever.
If you plan to swap the B20A very soon in the car, you could just leave it like this if the car runs. However, the B20A ECU will make the A18A run extra rich and with the CEL for the cyl sensor, it won't run right.
If you want to use the A18A for an extended period of time, swap the ECU with a PJ0, swap some pins around (I make a post about this) and use the A20A distributor. The A18A will run better like this.
Make sure you port those holes! lol

Yeah ill play with it some more when i have fuel so the engine will actually run lol
I should make a bracket and mount the cam sensor on the cam pulley bolt
Hey another update lol
Today i got busy doing my wiring. I wired up the Foglights using the OEM wires. minter. i found out that on the 88-89 looms the front main loom for the car has the extra wires for the digital dashes 5 wire fuel sender. so i ran the other two wires from the plug along where the rear loom goes and put them into the fuel sender. It looks OEM as. the loom also had the rear wipoer wires so that was damn easy to hook up.
I installed a bootlid and tail lights and its sitting on rims now lol.

Looks like some serious progress! Must be nice having all that OEM wiring in there for the digital gauges!
you better have it runing on time lol
It will be ready for the experdition, otherwise we have to take my car hahaa
Wow! Nice progress so far. Seems you'll have a bit of welding to do for the rear folding seat.
This gives me some motivation for my fog lights wiring. I've been lazy lately.

Yup. I have to go to mums to drill the spot welds out of the folding seat brackets and tack them in to this car before i can use the back seat properly.
I was in a wireing mood today as you may have seen haha
Hope its not raining tomorrow so i can finish installing the wires/alarm/audio wires and start getting the interior installed!!!
Hey wohdog, could you be so very kind and do a thorough examination of your fuel level sender for your digital dash?
Honda japan doesnt carry the sender unit anymore so I'm hoping that I can modify a regular fuel level sender to work with my digital gauges, but I need to know what the extra circuitry is.
Could you take some detailed pics of it and if you have an ohm meter, find out what's connected with what on it's terminals? And resistance in either circuitrys at empty/half/full.
I'm going crazy not having a fuel level reading or a working trip computer.
yeah it just means i got to pull it out.
aparently it works like a variable resistor, one wire in the midle that goes from side to side on a coil of resistance wire and theres a wire on each side of the coil
Hostings dead. no pics!!

The fuel sender from a 4th gn lude might be the solution. They all have the digital fuel unit, even the base model.

true. and carotman you knows lots about ecus... How can you make it not show an error code for a certain sensor? I have a feeling that its possible cause some 86 ecus show an error code for egr and some dont come wqith it. theres gotta be a component in there that they change to make the error code go away for the cars that done have egr.
