Wow I had no idea.. damn thats a lot of coin but HUGE brakes!
For the lazy:
1988-89 Accord LXi 13 inch 4 piston LXi-SL13-4
$1,250.00
13 inch 4 piston Big Brake kit for the Accord LXi. Featuring the large Superlite calipers and slotted & drilled rotors, this kit is comparable to any of the higher priced kits on the market, for a lot less $. Kit comes with the Superlite Forged 4 piston calipers, pads, 13 inch 2 piece slotted & drilled rotors, brackets, front braided steel brake lines. This kit requires at least a 17 inch wheel. 1988-89 Accord LXi.
though its sweet....i think ill stick to the legend master upgrade....im already gathering the parts
they have a few kits :-O

i thought the prices seemed reasonable being they also include the SS brake lines.
id like to hear legendmaster's take on this kit, as he has basically put the same kit together himself

Man any of those kits would be nice to have, damn. Totally going to have to save to get those sometime.
Actually fastbrakes was the sole reason I was able to do this kit. They were the company that confirmed with me and another member that the R calipers fit on our hubs. Me and that other member(cant remember his name) where the ginny pigs for his 88-89 accord brake upgrades. I honestly think the 13" is a bit much considering most people will never have over 250HP on these cars. Oh also I bought my redrilled rotors from this guy and he had an excelent price on those and was great to work with.
This kit seems to be the same $530 kit that they offer BUT with the exception of wilwood calipers hmm...

do you have pics of the rotors you got from fastbrakes LM?
I had a bracket made up a while back for the old AEM big brake kit that used stock calipers with larger rotors. I liked my kit because it was a custom piece that didnt need washers to space it out. I had like 5 kits made that are out here somewhere but i changed plans for my car and wanted to run smaller wheels.
Im going to be in the market for brakes this summer so i have been looking at my options.
thanks legend, u think its worth it for the $500 kit, says its the whole caliper assembly ,bracket, rotor and SS brake lines. Mky i think legend was talking about the set that they have for like $1200 at the bottom of the list, that is with a 13" rotor. I agree with legend that over a 12.2" front disk setup is a little bit over kill w/ upgraded SE-I rear disks , but hey that just means we need to have a reason to make more power :-)

Pretty sure it was oldblueaccord. These kits have been around for a while, I just wonder if anyone actually buys them....
i dont think anyone here has bought a kit yet...plus that that much money might as well get an engine rebuild...i still think the tire helps...when i switched over my dx from passanger tire to sport tire...i could stop a lil better.
