I haven't seen it yet so i guess ill have to be the one to do it... "ITS FUCKING TAX SEASON" and i only hear of people wanting a turbo 80's accord engine, and nobody but one person i have found on youtube, that has a 1 minute clip of a turbo a20 engine. well, u may not like the looks of my rust bucket Accord '86-89 but its my car baby... FOR THOSE PEOPLE who are like me in search of a a20 turbo accord with pics and vids look no further because i am going to equip MY CAR with a 1.8ltr turbo w/ low boost and factory injectors and custom manifold.


like i said its tax season..... i have plans......for a turbo.....and is waiting on my W-2's

yeah theres a good amount of people that have done it.... but more power to you man... you say 1.8?? does that mean you have a A18?? if so have fun with that carb setup.. whats your plans to do this?? stand alone or obd1 swap for control???

accord engine pics. no body pics taken yet... your not missing much. vids will come once i get the ported head on. right now its a ticking time bomb with that bent valve. its not that bad.

i have updated pics of the engine being rebuilt, but iam putting factory parts back in just honing the engine out and new bearings to rebuild the compression. the top end ( ported head) is still in the machine shop getting remanufactured. ill post the pics some time tomarrow.

Oh yeah and i found some of the turbo 3g accords on HMT.com just do a search forum.
for a "turbo a20a1 engine". they look pretty unique.

How much did people pay for their turbo manifolds if you know any???

I'm in the progress of making one right now, you probably saw the thread..I don't know know how much I'll want for it though, depends on how many hours it takes and the total material cost. Probably around $500 though. It'll be somewhat of a complex manifold.

these are some of the basic pics from the links above from how it was to being disassembled. when i finish buying the turbo and head back i'll have pics available by this friday.

i redid the links above so it might work this time, but its just the smae pics.
i got some previous drag races i from how it was before that engine without compression at the top, ill post those soon..probably later. i have to record it from the tv by my video camera cause the tape on VHS. so its going to be boot-leg

this was taken last year in march when i first got the the car from an auction. let me say you get what you pay for. i wanted the body so bad since my last one got totaled. for $400.00 it had no top compression, in the head. but for some reason i still beat these cars with 200,000+miles. same engine set-up but another engine. let me know if it dont work.

i have another one with me racing a late 80's supra also and whipping that ass, boys called me out, laughing cause i had three lugs on each of my tires and a broken studd. let me say they wont laughing after the race. i'll try posting that later computer didnt load it properly.
