Here's my initial rendering design of a possible lip kit. Looks pretty damn good with the stock bumper grill cut out to expose an intercooler (or mesh grill) and a couple of nice fog/driving lights.

that really flows with the lines of the car. look really good to me
How hard would it be for someone with just the basics to make something like that, and end up making a mold out of it ?
Wonder how much it'd cost to distribute that ^.^
Looks good too.
Anybody with a pulse and eyesight can get excited looking at $250,000 supercars. It takes a special kind of gearhead to drool over an Accord, Sentra, Corolla or anything else made out of parts found in dumpsters, scrap yards, and along the side of the highway.
hey that looks good...it sort of looks like one of them 5th gen lips with the two openings at each end..it def. gets a thumbs up..

i want 2, how much?
Look similer to an idea I had for a lip. What material do you plan on using to make the lip.

i definatly like!, id buy one
-Who needs horse power when you got icy roads and bald tires
-To drift a car is to create reckless art
i'd get one for under 50 bucks. but i think it'd flow better with 88/89 coupe sedan front bumpers.
3geez for life.
nice

I'm planning on something like these. Direct bolt-on. Using the existing holes under the front bumper. It would only fit 88-89 front bumpers though since that's what I have. I'm gonna use fiberglass but I'm gonna experiment with the resin to make the final product more durable and flexible by adding different additives and using different matting materials. Sorry can't share the exact info on how it will be done or what materials I will use, but you get the idea.

if it fits the 88/89, it will fit the hatchie bumpers too. my old modded g1teg lip fit mine well and also my friend's coupe well, it just stands out more on the 88/89 coupe/sedan bumpers. you'll get a bigger buyer market too.Originally Posted by ICEMAN707

3geez for life.
Starting next month I would have a prototype done and list it on ebay. So be on the lookout. Price will depend on labor and materials. I would estimate around the $150-$250 range. Granted it would be great fit and quality and not cheap stuff. Side skirts and rear lip will soon follow after that. Side skirts will be similar to pic #2, nice and clean.

will you be making sides skirts for the hatches and coupes? and how about the hatchie rear bumpers?

is it also going to say 3geez on it?? i would definately buy one,![]()
I will try to incorporate a recessed 3GEE or ACCORD emblem on there. But I can't guarantee it cus it would add to the cost of labor. Maybe I can get a vinyl graphics shop to make a sticker version for an extra $10 to the cost of the lip.
For now it's just 88-89 bumper front lip. Next would be sedan sides. But I believe all 3gee models have the same side length. The skirt will bolt in from the bottom and not in the door jams, so fit won't be an issue. And it looks clean and simple enough to complement 4 and 2 door types.
As far as the rear bumper lip goes, if I can get a hold of an 87 and an 88-89 rear bumper to work from, I can make both types. Same goes for an 87 front bumper lip if i can get a hold of one. Time will tell.
to bad i have an 86 hatch![]()
Ver nice I am very excited about this and hope this falls through it would be great

when you get it going send ma apm. Id like a 88-89 lip and side skirts for a coupe. Ive got a kaminari kit. If I sent it to you could you make it really nice like your kit on your car? PM me let me know if you have any options available for me
I believe the kaminari kit is urethane. Unless it's fiberglass, I can't work on it. Urethane is that rubbery plastic material used for stock bumpers. Once you cut urethane up, it's next to impossible to fix it back. Fiberglass won't stick to urethane because of their different chemical makeup. It's like oil and water.
As far as the lip kit goes. Like I said, the front lip would be ready by early January after the holiday season passes thru. I will make them on average of 2-3 a week, so bare with me. I'm just one man and I have strict quality standards once it comes to my work. To prevent confusion, I will only go through eBay for orders. So, keep checking there. I will update you guys with pics soon so you get the heads up first before everyone else on eBay does.
Don't worry, either buy 88-89 front and rear bumpers cheap from the junkyard or just wait till I get around to making lip kits for 86-87.Originally Posted by ZackieDarko

Eh... jkbut seriously i've seen 1 hatch with a custom body kit. But me personaly think that the hatch looks the best "clean" but if you DO want to put a kit but nothing too wild like im going to do, the stock lips from the Accord coupe's is the best bet

Besides the one that Giovanni gave me im going to check other Accord lips all way round from different years and see what looks best.
As far as the rendering goes...... i would buy it. Looks great especialy the "3GEE" cut out or indent. I think it would look great as an indent.
