    Return to my roots?

Hey guys, I’m actually contemplating buying a 3rd gen Accord again. I still have the wheels from my wagon and I don’t remember the offsets I need to make sure they will tuck on a 3rd gen. If they won’t tuck, I will probably end up just getting another 4th or 5th gen to drive.
    The fronts are 18x7.5 with a +42 offset. I’m running a 215/35/18 tire.
    The rears are 19x7.5 with a +48 offset with a 215/35/19 tire.
Of course I want to be able to lower it at least 2 inches.

    Can anybody help me?

not positive about offsets should be close to the same, but the lug pattern is different

looking at those sizes, I have not seen any 18 and over wheels fit too good on these cars, not for practical use anyway, just show cars.

The wheels have both 4x100 and 4x114.3 patterns so I am set there.

You could try the wheels on a member's car.

I think that offset is just about where it should be to fit on a 3rd gen. Would be cool to see you driving a 3rd gen again.

lol nice to see you back. but IMO anything bigger than 17 inches on these cars is a waste....its like putting 22s on a mustang 5.0...it just makes it look like a monster truck with really small brakes...but yeah maybe a member here can help you on that one since most of us are droped couple of inches.

Lol dang, whats with all the oldschool members dropping by lately.

Glad to see you're thinking of getting back in the game... I know TK was dumped on 18's.... but I dunno about 19s, that is probably pushin it.

    Re: Return to my roots?

Well, I sold my wheels so that isn’t an option anymore. And I’m selling my B2200 today, so I can start looking for another car. If I find a nice enough 3g I will buy it. I want an LXi with under 150k miles and in nice shape.

I just got a huge shock last night. I got contacted on MySpace by a guy who knows the guy who wrecked my car. He says a friend of his has my interior and it is still in immaculate shape. The car was wrecked about 2 months after I sold it and he put it in another car for a week. It has just been sitting unused since then. That is at least 6 years. I asked him to find out how much he wants for it.

Dang pearl, that'd be crazy if you could get the interior... if so, do it up for sure, and find another 3g.
