hey all
been awhile since ive been here, and i just picked up a new 3g.
its an 88 lxi, 5 speed and it feels like when i get into first and let the clutch, the whole transmission moves around...and it will randomly do it at other times as well, which can sometimes make it hard to find the next gear..
im thinking a tranny mount maybe? other ideas?

i would check out the motor mounts...since our tranny does not have a mount. also check your shifter bushings...i replaced mine with poly ones and the shifts are smooth now

will do, i was thinking it could be motor mounts also do to the way it feels...
