    New Amp

Hey, today picked up my new amp, i went took my other amp back, and got an MTX TH4244 4channel, VERY impressed with it.

Now im getting a new HU in the next few weeks, one with 4v Output and mp3 playback, selling my kenwood since well it's been very disappointing.

Now i run my splits, coaxs, good amp, now just need a HU , this hu im going for back sub output control too!

NOrmally it sells for $700 i paid under $500

Im going for the JVC mp3 HU, it has sub output, 4v pre-outs, ok the kenwood is a decent basic head unit, but it lacks Sub output , and its Pre-outs aren't strong enough, only 1.8v or something. IT's good for a basic setup, but that's its.

KDC-4020, like not a bad head unit, but it depends on the applicaiton.

ah yes...well i though u meant play back or something, I will admit my 271s has a low preout voltage(1.8v), but the cd playing its top notch as well as the fm tuning

but i'm sure your new setup will rock! good luck!

Forget the model number, actually my kenwood's cd playing was been alright, but i notice alot background noise with songs, reminiscent of scratching from records, which is bizarre since it's not the wiring or the amp, since that noise has come from the HU directly when it was hooked to the speakers.

I dunno, mate is buying it off me anyway, as I said good system for a basic setup. But I dont want basic

how did you run your power and RCA wires(from HU to amps)?
did you run them on the same side or opposite sides?
if power and speaker wire cross anywhere that can be your source of noise.
